BIRDWATCH is a 3D stop motion project inspired by Foucault’s writing about the panopticon and surveillance state, feelings of paranoia, and Julius Neubronner's pigeons. Features handmade set & character, recorded Foley sounds, and an edited version of Chet Baker's "Someone to Watch Over Me." Miniature 'paintings' & prints sourced from Public Domain Review and vintage National Geographic issues.
